Ingredients
Scale
- 1 boneless turkey breast (about 3–4 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth (for basting)
Instructions
- Prepare the Turkey: Start by patting the turkey breast dry with paper towels. This helps achieve that crispy skin everyone loves!
- Season the Turkey: In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the turkey breast, making sure to get into all the nooks and crannies.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
- Air Fry the Turkey: Place the seasoned turkey breast in the air fryer basket. Cook for about 25-30 minutes, basting with chicken broth halfway through the cooking time.
- Check for Doneness: Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. It should reach 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part. If it’s not there yet, continue cooking and check every few minutes.
- Rest and Serve: Once cooked, remove the turkey from the air fryer and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a moist and tender turkey.
