  • 1 whole chicken (34 pounds)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve crispy skin.
  • Season the Chicken: In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken, including inside the cavity.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Cook the Chicken: Place the seasoned chicken in the air fryer basket, breast side down. Cook for 30 minutes.
  • Flip and Finish Cooking: Carefully flip the chicken over and cook for an additional 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is golden brown.
  • Rest and Serve: Let the chicken rest for 10-15 minutes before carving. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve with lemon wedges.
