Garlic Butter Sautéed Spinach

  • 1 lb fresh spinach (washed and dried)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Lemon juice (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  • Heat the Butter: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add Garlic: Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  • Add Spinach: Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until wilted.
  • Season: Season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, squeeze a little lemon juice over the spinach before serving.
  • Serve: Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy hot!
