Halloween Hocus Pocus Popcorn

  • Author: Ashley
  • Total Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 cups popped popcorn (about 1/2 cup unpopped kernels)
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (white or dark chocolate)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup M&M’s (Halloween-themed if available)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for thinning chocolate)
  • Sprinkles (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Pop the Popcorn: Use an air popper or stovetop method to pop the popcorn. Spread it on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. If using, stir in the coconut oil to thin the chocolate.
  • Mix in Peanut Butter: Stir the peanut butter into the melted chocolate until well combined.
  • Combine Ingredients: Drizzle the chocolate-peanut butter mixture over the popcorn. Toss gently to coat evenly.
  • Add Candy: Mix in the candy corn and M&M’s, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  • Sprinkle and Set: Add sprinkles on top while the mixture is still warm. Let it cool and set completely.
  • Serve: Once set, break the popcorn into clusters and serve in festive bowls or bags.
