Instant Pot Turkey Breast

  • Author: Ashley
  • Total Time: 60 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 lb turkey breast (bone-in or boneless)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme, optional)

Instructions

  • Season the Turkey: Rub the turkey breast with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Sauté: Set the Instant Pot to “Sauté” mode. Once hot, sear the turkey breast for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Deglaze: Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pot to remove any browned bits.
  • Pressure Cook: Place the turkey back in the pot. If using, add fresh herbs. Close the lid and set to “Manual” or “Pressure Cook” for 25-30 minutes, depending on the size of the breast.
  • Natural Release: Allow the pressure to release naturally for 10-15 minutes, then perform a quick release for any remaining pressure.
  • Rest and Serve: Remove the turkey, let it rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
