Mexican Cheese Ball

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled queso fresco
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Tortilla chips or veggies (for serving)

Instructions

  • Mix the Cheese: In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, queso fresco, jalapeños, cilantro, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the Ball: Using your hands, shape the mixture into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  • Serve: Remove the cheese ball from the fridge and unwrap. Serve with tortilla chips or fresh veggies for dipping.
