- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup (plus more for topping)
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- Black olives (for “eyes”)
- Green bell pepper (sliced, for “mouth”)
- Optional: cooked bacon bits (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the Meatloafs: Divide the mixture into 6-8 portions and shape each into a mini loaf, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Add Cheese: Press shredded cheese into the top of each meatloaf for a gooey, delicious topping.
- Top with Ketchup: Squeeze a little extra ketchup on top of each mini loaf for added flavor.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Decorate: Once out of the oven, use sliced olives for eyes and pieces of bell pepper for mouths. If you’d like, sprinkle with bacon bits for extra flavor.
- Serve: Enjoy these monster meatloafs warm and watch them disappear!
